OCT Diagnostic Imaging

Imaging technique that can make images of structures in the retina with a resolution

Light waves rather than sound waves.

Visualization for Ophthalmic Surgeons

Perioperative OCT provides anatomic feedback to the surgeon, which aids in the visualization of physiological and pathological conditions during ophthalmic surgery, and helps guide surgical decision making in anterior as well as posterior cases.

Insight for Researchers

Bioptigen’s OCT systems have revolutionized the clinical practice of ophthalmology by providing high-resolution images, ultra-fast scanning, and deep insight into anatomic information. It has become the gold standard imaging modality for many conditions for aiding in the diagnosis.

MULTICOLOR MODULE

The SPECTRALIS® MultiColor Module uses three laser wavelengths simultaneously to provide diagnostic images that show distinct structures at different depths within the retina. The high-resolution, detailed MultiColor images can highlight structures and pathologies not visible on ophthalmoscopy and fundus photography. MultiColor images may even be acquired in patients with cataracts or nystagmus. Available only on the SPECTRALIS platform, the combination of MultiColor with OCT brings a new dimension of detail and versatility to ophthalmic imaging.
